This price guild is merely here to serve as a tool to estimate the value of your rares. Rare prices are by no means static, and can fluctuate wildly with supply & demand, bugs, changes in spawn rates, and a myriad of other factors. The prices in this guide were calculated by a team of experienced UO merchants and players. The economy of the respective shard that you play on can also have a drastic effect on what your rares are worth. On shards such as Pacific and Baja, where the value of gold is deflated, you should look at the HIGH column to get your estimates. On shards where the economy is more in check - such as Great Lakes, Catskills, Atlantic, and Chesapeake - you should look to the LOW column to determine value. Again, these numbers are here to provide a range from which you can extrapolate the value of your rares. In the real world, it boils down to what someone is actually willing to pay for them. Finding that person who will pay what you want - that is what rare selling is all about :).
